Nanoneedling Add On

Nano needling is a very gentle treatment that works on the uppermost layer of the skin using microscopic silicone cones rather than traditional needles. As an add-on to resurfacing treatments, it enhances the penetration of medical-grade serums and supports hydration, glow, and skin smoothness.

I use nano needling as a way to boost overall skin quality and radiance after resurfacing, without adding significant trauma to the skin. It’s ideal if you want extra brightness and refinement rather than deeper corrective work.

Microneedling works deeper within the skin to stimulate collagen and treat concerns such as acne scarring and deeper lines. Nano needling, by contrast, works only in the superficial layers of the skin and is designed to improve glow, texture, and product absorption rather than deep collagen remodelling.

Because nano needling is superficial, it is gentler, better tolerated, and involves much less downtime. I choose between these treatments based on your skin concerns and your tolerance, and I will always guide you towards the safest and most appropriate option for your goals.

Nano needling is very comfortable for most patients and usually doesn’t require numbing cream. It’s often described as feeling like light vibration on the skin.

After treatment, you may have mild pinkness for a few hours, but this typically settles quickly. There is usually no peeling, bruising, or prolonged redness, making it a popular add-on for patients who want visible skin refreshment with minimal disruption to their routine.

Many patients notice an immediate improvement in skin glow and smoothness after one session. However, for longer-lasting improvement in skin quality, I often recommend incorporating nano needling into a series of resurfacing treatments.
